Refund & Returns Policy

The Short Version: Coffee is a perishable food product, so we cannot accept returns based on "change of mind." However, we operate with absolute integrity. If your coffee arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, we will make it right immediately.

1. Perishable Goods (Coffee) Due to the perishable nature of roasted coffee, we do not accept returns or exchanges on coffee beans or pods if you simply change your mind or dislike the specific roast profile.

  • Exception: If the bag has burst during transit or the coffee is clearly defective (e.g., spoiled or contaminated), we will replace it or refund you upon provision of photo proof.

2. Damages and Issues Please inspect your order upon reception. If your item is defective, damaged, or you received the wrong item, contact us immediately at hello@rebelbrew.co.

  • Australian Consumer Law: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

3. Merchandise & Equipment For non-coffee items (such as brewing equipment or apparel), we offer a 30-day return policy.

  • To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unused, in its original packaging, and with proof of purchase.

  • To start a return, contact us at hello@rebelbrew.co. If accepted, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without a prior request will not be accepted.

4. Non-Returnable Items

  • Gift Cards

  • Sale items (unless defective)

  • Opened coffee bags (unless there is a quality defect)

5. Refunds If a refund is approved (for damaged or defective goods), you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
